How to make
Set the figs aside and mix absolutely all the other ingredients in a bowl using a wire whisk.
Pour the mixture into a suitable cake tin.
Sprinkle with nuts on top and arrange the sliced figs as you like.
Bake in a preheated oven at 340°F (170°C) for about 60 minutes, check it with a toothpick: stick it in the middle, it should come out dry!
Allow the Christmas cake to cool completely and it is ready.
