Ingredients

  • tuna - 7 oz (200 g) or canned mackerel fillet
  • chickpeas - 2.6 oz (75 g) canned
  • mayonnaise - 1.7 oz (50 g)
  • sour cream - 1 oz (30 g)
  • butter - 1 oz (30 g) or olive oil
  • capers - 1 tsp.
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp.
  • cognac - 1 tbsp.
  • chopped parsley - 1 tbsp.
  • salt
  • black pepper - by taste

How to make

Strain the fish and chickpeas well. Put them in a blender along with the mayonnaise, softened butter, capers, lemon juice and cognac.

Blend until a pate consistency is obtained.

Season with parsley, salt and black pepper.

The pate is served on toast or bruschettas.

Before serving, it should be stored in the refrigerator in a bowl covered with foil, in order to stay fresh.

The fish pate with chickpeas turns out great!
