How to make
Heat the milk on the stove along with the cinnamon and lemon peel. Once they heat up, add the sugar and leave it on the hob for 3-4 minutes, while stirring until the sugar melts. Then remove it from the heat.
Arrange the bread slices in a container without overlapping them and pour the liquid over them. Leave them to soak it up for a while and turn them to soak it up on the other side.
Put the flour into a bowl and beat it with a little water. Each bread slice is dipped in the mixture, but for a very short time and the excess mixture is removed with a spoon or a fork.
Fry them in hot fat, on one side first and then on the other.
