"You can make an aromatic homemade bread with a crispy crust with dry yeast as well"

Ingredients

  • dry yeast - 1 1/3 tsp (7 g)
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tbsp.
  • oil - 2 tbsp.
  • water - 2 cups
  • flour - about 1.5 lb (700 g)
measures

How to make

Activate the yeast by mixing it with sugar, water and a few tablespoons of flour. Stir and leave it for a few minutes in a warm place.

Add the oil and salt to the resulting mixture and start gradually adding the flour, while kneading a soft dough.

Let it rise again for about 2 hours (at room temperature, if it is very warm, it may need a shorter time to rise).

After that, form one or two loaves out of the dough and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and once again leave the bread to rise for about 30-40 minutes.

Bake in preheated 360°F (180 degrees) for about 30-40 minutes or until the bread is fully baked.
