"Spread a little butter over a slice of this healthy bread and your day will be tastier"

Ingredients

  • einkorn flour - 7 oz (200 g)
  • flaxseed flour - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • fresh yeast - 0.6 oz (17 g)
  • water - 3/4 cup (150 ml)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • oil - 1 tbsp (15 ml)

How to make

Dissolve the yeast in slightly warmed water with a spoonful of sugar. Wait 5-6 minutes for it to rise and add the two types of flour, salt and oil.

Knead a smooth dough and shape it into a loaf. I have kneaded it for at least 5 minutes intensely or about the same time with a mixer with dough kneading attachments.

Grease a suitable pan and place the bread and leave it rise and double its volume for about 1 hour.

Bake in a preheated 370°F (190 degree) oven for about 20-25 minutes or its fully baked.

Cool on a wire rack before cutting into it at your dining table.

* What I do to get flaxseed flour is I grind flaxseed grains in a food processor or a coffee grinder.
