"The kids will surely smile at the sight of these jelly fruit bites and so will you"

Ingredients

  • water - 1 and 1/4 cup
  • orange juice - from 1/2 of an orange
  • sugar - 2 - 3 tbsp.
  • gelatin - 5 sheets /2 tsp/
  • fruit - fruit pieces of your choice
  • gummy candies - 8 - 10 pcs. (fruit flavored)
measures

How to make

Heat the water, orange juice and sugar and when it is close to its boiling point, remove from the heat.

Hydrate the gelatin in cold water or according to the manufacturer's instructions until the fruit water cools slightly. If you're using gelatin powder, then 5 sheets equal, more or less, 10 g /2 tsp./ of the powder.

As soon as the temperature of the fruit water drops - it is important that it isn't boiling, but also not cold, add the gelatin and stir.

Put pieces of fruit and the gummy candy in ice cube trays or others of your choice. If you are going to use them as an addition to cocktails, for example, you can add a leaf of fresh mint.

Pour the liquid into the ice cube trays and leave to cool completely, then refrigerate them until the next day. You can speed up the process by putting them in the freezer for a while, but do not let them freeze.

The jelly fruit bites can be used to decorate fruit desserts, cocktails or you can eat them as they are.

Enjoy!
