Ingredients

  • broccoli - 0.9 lb (400 g) frozen (1 cup)
  • eggs - 1
  • flour - 7 tbsp.
  • water - 2 cups.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • soda - 1 tsp.
  • yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • For the sauce
  • yogurt - 5 tbsp.
  • red pepper - 1 tsp. spicy
  • poy - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • salt - optional

How to make

I know that everyone makes breaded broccoli, but the special thing about mine is the sauce.

Here's how to prepare

Put the frozen broccoli in a bowl and pour hot water on top, wait two minutes and squeeze them. Then we cut them into equal pieces.

Prepare the breading. In a deep bowl put the water and crack the egg inside and stir, then - and soda, and begin to put the flour. We do it step by step and stir so that no pieces remain and the mixture becomes smooth. For me, seven spoons of flour are enough, but if you want it to be thicker, add more at your discretion.

Then put a pan on the stove to heat it up and add oil to the middle of the pan. We wait for the fat to heat up nicely and start breading and frying - we take a pinch of broccoli and dip it in the breadcrumbs and then we put it in the oil, we have to be quick because they fry quickly. And so we do the whole thing until it's over.

Yoghurt sauce

Peel two cloves of garlic and crush them into a bowl, then add the yogurt, spices and mix well, and if desired add a little salt.

Hot pepper and poy give a specific smell that we like very much at home.
