How to make
Grill the burgers on the barbeque, or on a hot grill pan. Cook them as long as you wish, depending on your preference (rare, medium or well done).
2-3 minutes before they are ready add the sliced cheddar cheese on top of each burger, so it can melt nicely.
For the sauce, heat the bourbon slightly.
Add the honey, butter and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper.
Slice the bread buns in half and grill them as well.
Assemble the burgers as follows: Bread bun - mayonaise - burger with cheddar - tomato slice - barbeque sauce - again mayonaise - bread bun.
