How to cook
The wheat is washed and boiled, you can even over boil it, in slightly salted water. Strain it and place it into a bowl.
Add the finely chopped onions and garlic. Add the crushed sheep milk cheese (or another hard cheese), the egg and the thyme. Mix everything well.
Season with thyme, black pepper, paprika and salt.
In a pan with a non-stick coating, pour about 3 tablespoons of oil. When the oil has heated up, with the help of a spoon, shape flat burgers. Reduce the temperature.
When they cook well on the underside, carefully turn them over with a spatula and turn off the hob, but leave them on it to continue the cooking process.
The burgers are very tender (they should be! ) and if you find it difficult to turn them over with one spatula, feel free to help yourself with another one.
They taste slightly spicy, slightly crunchy, they are filling and uniquely delicious. Serve the healthy burgers warm.
