Ingredients

  • onions - 4 - 5 onions (large)
  • beef - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • water - 2 and 1/2 cups (warm)
  • tomatoes - 1 tin
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • oil - 1 cup
  • bay leaf - 3 - 4 leaves
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • parsley
  • salt

How to make

The onion needs to be peeled and cut into large pieces.

In a saucepan, fry in oil the beef on both sides. Add the chopped chunks of onion and stir. Leave the onion to soften for 1-2 minutes.

Add the paprika, black pepper, crushed garlic, bay leaf, canned tomatoes and warm water. Let it simmer over low heat until the meat is cooked. Season with salt.

Mix the flour with a little water and add it to the beef and onion stew.

Sprinkle the cooked stew with finely chopped parsley. Enjoy your meal!
