Ingredients

  • feta cheese - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g) soft
  • yogurt - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1/2 tbsp.
  • flour - 3 cups
  • baking powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp.

How to make

In a bowl, grate the feta cheese on a coarse grater.

Mix the yogurt with the soda and after it foams, add it to the feta cheese.

Add the butter and stir. Gradually add the pre-mixed sifted flour and baking powder. Knead a soft dough, put it in a plastic bag, and leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Take out the dough and place it on a cloth sprinkled with flour and roll it out into a crust 0.5 cm thick.

Cut the crust into rectangles and arrange them in a baking tray covered with baking paper.

Place the pan in a preheated 390°F (200-degree) oven and bake the snacks for about 20 minutes.

Crispy and very tasty salty snack with feta cheese without eggs!
