"A phyllo pastry you`ll remember for the rest of your life!"

Ingredients

  • phyllo pastry - 17.5 oz (500 g) finely rolled
  • cow butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • sunflower oil - 3/4 cup
  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • yogurt - 2 cups (500 g)
  • carbonated water - 1 1/3 cups (330 ml)
  • eggs - 5
  • cheese - 9.5 oz (275 g)

How to make

Butter is melted and mixed with sunflower oil. Beat eggs in a large bowl and add yogurt, milk and soda water. Mix well and add the crumbled cheese. Make a relatively runny stuffing. An appropriate tray is oiled with the mixture of oil and butter.

Put one whole phyllo pastry sheet on the bottom, and if necessary, tear off the edges, which in the process of arrangement are spread among the layers. Sprinkle each sheet with a little oil and stuffing. Pour over the already arranged pie with the remaining stuffing and let it stay for 10-15 minutes.

Put the pie in a preheated oven at about 360°F (180 °C) and bake it for 40-45 minutes - until it swells and gains an appetizing golden tan.

Cover the sponge pie with a towel for 10-15 minutes to steam. Serve after slicing it into pieces.
