How to make
The pork (if possible without fat on it) is cut into cubes and put to fry in a little oil. Add ½ cup of hot water if necessary, add salt and black pepper to taste.
In a pot fry the chopped onions and grated carrots. Add the pre-soaked and drained rice and fry for a few minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.
Season with spices and transfer to a lightly greased baking tray. Add the pork, top with a few cups of hot water and put the rice with pork to bake in a moderate oven until the rice absorbs the water.
