Ingredients

  • eggs - 2
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • cheese - 9 oz (250 g)
  • feta cheese - 9 oz (250 g)
  • butter - 1 cup (250 g) or margarine
  • baking powder - 2 (by Dr. Yotker)
  • flour - about 2 lb (1 kg) (as much as it absorbs)

How to make

Set aside the egg yolk of 1 egg for smearing the scones later.

Grate the feta cheese and cheese. Mix all the products, add the flour gradually. Knead a medium soft dough.

Divide it into 8 balls. Roll out each ball into 1/8 thick sheets. Cut each into 12 slices (like a cake).

Roll up each into a scone. Arrange them in a tray and smear with the yolk. Bake in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven.
