How to make
Prepare a sugar syrup by boiling the water with the sugar until all the crystals dissolve completely. Then leave the syrup on the stove for another 10 min. on low heat.
Remove the figs' stems, wash the fruits and blanch them for 5 min. Take them out with a slotted spoon and put in a container with icy cold water.
Put them in dry, clean jars, pour on the hot syrup and close with caps.
Sterilize for 20 min. and turn upside down until cooled.
