Cream cheese is suitable for making both salt and sweet dishes. We have chosen 2 salads, 1 à la minute and a quick to make dessert. Here are the required products to make them:
Salad with cream cheese and boiled potatoes
Ingredients: 17.5 oz potatoes, 2 green peppers, 2 eggs, 1 onion head, 1 packet of cream cheese (1/2 cup), 3 tbsp yoghurt, 2 garlic cloves, 1/2 bunch of parsley, salt, black pepper, oil.
Preparation: First, boil the potatoes, but not too much. Boil the eggs as well. Cook the onion, potatoes, peppers and eggs into slices. Arrange them in plates. You need to make a sauce from the rest of the ingredients. Blend them well in a blender, then thoroughly pour it over the salad.
The next proposal is for a salad with roasted peppers. Cut up 2 roasted red peppers and 2 tomatoes and leave them in a bowl.
Make the sauce from 2 packets of cream cheese, 5 tbsp yoghurt, olive oil, a little salt and basil - stir the mixture well and mix it with the tomatoes and peppers. Stir, let it cool and serve. If you like garlic, add it to taste for an even more appetizing finish.
Our next proposal is for a main dish with cream cheese. The recipe is perfect for making during the weekdays because it's very quick. Cut 5 Vienna sausages into round slices, about 3/4″ (2 cm) thick. Arrange them in a tray and add about 2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces.
Put the tray in the oven and in the meantime, make the topping. For it you will need to whisk 4 eggs, 2 packets of cream cheese, black pepper, 3 tbsp cream, salt. Once the sausages cook a bit (about 10 min.), remove the tray and pour the topping over them. Then bake until the dish browns nicely. Serve with a green salad.
If you do not have any cream, you can add milk. For more flavor, add 2-3 pinches of savory or basil to the topping.
And to finish off our cream cheese menu, the last proposal is for a dessert.
Sweets with Cream Cheese
Ingredients: 3 cups flour, 2 packets cream cheese, 1 cup lard, sugar.
Preparation: Knead a dough from the listed products, excluding the sugar. Let it sit for 24 hours, then roll out a sheet from the dough and sprinkle it with sugar. Wrap up the sheet into a roll, but not tightly, and cut it into 1/2″ (1 cm) pieces. Bake to a tan in a moderate oven.
