Whipped cream is a fluffy cream. We can make whipped cream at home using vegetable or liquid dairy cream. You can't make a whipped cream from sour cream, because when you beat it, you get a different type of cream, which is more liquid and smoother.

The technology of whipping cream to achieve the so-called whipped cream is quite simple. It is good to use a mixer - beating by hand is not impossible, but it is difficult and if you do not have enough training, it may not work well.
You need liquid cream, confectionery or liquid animal based. If you bought a cooking cream, you need to add powdered sugar while beating it, so that it aquires a sweet taste. You can add a little sugar to the confectionery, but very little - the goal is to beat it easier.
The technology is the following - pour the liquid cream into a deep enough bowl (so that you don't make your whole kitchen a mess), add sugar if you decide it is necessary. Turn on the mixer to medium speed and start beating. The cream is ready when, after removing the mixer, the consistency in the bowl is not liquid, but remains firmer and resembles fluffy snow.
Whipped cream is stored in the refrigerator for several days, but do not leave it for too long, because it is a product with a short self life, especially if it is of animal origin. It is suitable for many types of cakes and pastries and it is a wonderful addition to cappuccino or coffee. If you sprinkle a little cinnamon on the cream, the drinks will become even more aromatic.
With cream you can make creme brulee, creme caramel, eclairs and chocolate cake.
