Cherry tomatoes in jars

Canned cherry tomatoes look very beautiful because of their small size. Cherry tomatoes are verily easily canned and turn out great and are very tasty during the winter months.

Marinated cherry tomatoes are a spicy appetizer, can be added to various types of dishes and salads. Ingredients: 1 kg of cherry tomatoes, 10 cloves of garlic, half a bunch of dill, half a bunch of parsley, 6 grains of black pepper, 5 grains of cardamom, 1 clove, 1 bay leaf.

For the marinade with a volume of two liters: 7 tablespoons of sea salt, 7 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar, 1 nutmeg, a pinch of cinnamon.

All tomatoes are washed and pierced with a toothpick in several places. This is done so that they do not crack from the marinade with which they will be covered.

Pour the cherry tomatoes into a large jar to hold the two liters of marinade, pour the spices, garlic, dill and parsley on top. The water for the marinade needs to be boiled. Add salt, sugar, cinnamon, crushed nutmeg and boil everything for five minutes. Add both types of vinegar.

Once the marinade has cooled slightly, pour it over the cherry tomatoes. The jar is closed and left for five days at room temperature. It is then stored in a cold place for long-term storage.

Canned dried tomatoes

For faster use, another type of canning process of cherry tomatoes is done. You need a three-liter jar, 2 tablespoons of salt, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of vodka and mustard on the tip of a knife. Add spices according to your taste.

Put the cherry tomatoes in the jar and pour boiling water over them. Leave them for four minutes, then pour out the water and refill them with boiling water. After another four minutes, pour out this water as well.

Prepare the marinade from two liters of water and the above spices. The vinegar is added after removing the marinade from the heat. Drizzle the cherry tomatoes with the marinade, close them with a lid and after they cool and are left overnight, you can eat them. They can be stored for a long time in the refrigerator.
