If you want to make broccoli, you must blanch them in advance. Choose nice green broccoli that are of quality and have tender stems. If the broccoli head has bloomed way more that it should have, the taste of the vegetable will not be very pleasant and in addition, the beneficial properties are lost. Blanching broccoli is very easy. First, cut the broccoli head into small pieces.
Then boil the water and once starts boiling, put the broccoli into it. After 1-2 minutes, remove it from the water and let it cool under running water.
