Depending on the manufacturer, the cooking time for tagliatelle varies between 4 and 6 minutes. The exact cooking time can be checked on the packaging. It is timed from the time the water boils. Stir every 2 minutes. The pot in which tagliatelle is cooked in is not covered with a lid. They are often preferred for consumption al dente.
When the pasta is cooked, strain it very quickly in a colander.
