There are several ways to find out if you have an induction hob:
- Hob label or instructions - the first and easiest way is to check the hob label or read the instructions for use. Usually the label or the instructions indicate whether you have an induction hob or not;
- Magnetic test: The second method is to use a magnet. Take a simple magnet (for example, the refrigerator magnet) and place it on the bottom of the hob. If the magnet sticks firmly to the bottom, it means that you have an induction hob. If the magnet does not stick or sticks weakly, then it's not an induction hob;
- Visual inspection: Induction hobs usually have special distinguishing marks or indications on them. Check the bottom of the hob for signs or symbols that indicate it is induction. This can be an inscription such as "Induction" or an induction symbol (for example, a spiral or marker);
If you are unsure or cannot find information about your hob type, it is always a good idea to check with the manufacturer or seek help from a professional technician.
