One of the best things about summer is all the fresh fruit it brings with it.
If you buy blackberries, store them in their original container, whether it's a plastic or cardboard fruit box.
They should be stored in the low humidity drawer of your refrigerator, or more specifically, the fruit drawer.
Do not wash the blackberries, until you decide to use them. If you only need some of the fruit, wash only the ones you need and refrigerate the rest.
If you wash all the fruit immediately after buying them, they will remain slightly moist, no matter how much you dry them. Moisture breeds mold, so any water left on the fruit will cause it to spoil faster.
Blackberries should be stored in some sort of vented container, a plastic vented clamshell from the grocery store, or a cardboard fruit box. If the blackberries are in a completely sealed container, the ethylene will cause the fruit to ripen and spoil more quickly.

You can also freeze blackberries! Rinse them, dry them and arrange them in a tray. Deep freeze and then transfer them into freezer bags.
Remove the air from the bags very well to prevent the blackberries from burning and store them for 6 months to 1 year.
With the aromatic fruit, you can prepare the following recipes for everyone at home:
- fruit cake;
- or fruit cream.
