Thermostat
The function of the thermostat is to control the cooling system by turning the compressor on or off when necessary. So it basically turns the fridge on and off.
If your refrigerator is not fully working and has shut down, follow these steps to identify the fault:
- See if there is power to your device? Just check if the bulb works. If you can see the light when the door is open, the power is OK;
- Check the power indicator near the display panel. Make sure the thermostat is on. Listen for sounds coming from the refrigerator's freezer, which would indicate it is working;
- Use a multimeter to check your thermostat for malfunctions.
