Many people are literally in love with fried rice, which is served in Chinese restaurants in our country. And no matter how hard people try, they just can't achieve the same taste at home.
In fact, Chinese fried rice is delicious not only because of the sodium glutamate they generously put in it. The secret of delicious fried rice is in the boiling process. That's right - the boiling process. To make delicious rice, the grains of which are not stuck, but separate from each other, you need to boil it, until it is almost fully cooked.
But let's start over. Chinese fried rice is made with pre-cooked in a large amount of salted water long grain rice. The rice should be rinsed very well from the starch, then poured with cold water and boiled over high heat for 12-15 minutes.
The cooked rice is strained and placed in a tray in the thinnest possible layer, so that it cools down as quickly as possible, after which it is stored in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Vegetables, cut into medium-sized pieces, are fried briefly in heated oil, to which you have added a little sesame oil. Add the cold rice and if desired, an egg, which you have fried into a thin omelette and cut into strips.
All you have to do is fry the products for 10 minutes on high heat, by stirring at all times and serving your fried rice with vegetables. If you like, you can season your portion with soy sauce or salt.
