Ingredients

  • eggs - 4
  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • flour - 2 1/2 cups, type 500
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (15 g)
  • lemons - 1, large
  • cocoa - 3 tablespoons
  • vanilla - 2

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar in a large container, then add the oil, again beating until the mixture homogenizes. Next add the yoghurt and stir again.

Add the flour with the vanilla and baking powder, beat with the mixer on medium, then add the grated lemon rind and squeezed out juice from it. Stir until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Pour 1/2 the mixture into an oiled and floured cake form, add the cocoa to the other 1/2 and stir. Pour cocoa mixture in the middle of the white mixture and all around its circumference.

Put the cake to bake in a preheated 350°F (175 °C) oven about 45 min.
