Beat the soft butter with the both types of sugar until white. Add the eggs one at a time, then add the cream, sifted flour and baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt and the juice of 1 lemon.
Beat well and mix the lemon zest in. Grease an oblong cake form and pour in the mixture. Put the lemon cake with cream to bake for 45 minutes in a preheated to 360°F (180 °C) oven.
