Ingredients

  • sugar - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • rice - 1 cup
  • milk - 3 cups
  • vanilla - 2 powders
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch
  • nectarines - 2 or more, can use apricots

How to make

Boil the rice in water with a pinch of salt. Then put it into the boiling milk in a pan on the stove, where you pre- add vanilla and about 1 cup sugar. Mix well.

In a baking tin, caramelize about 3/4 cup water 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar. Do not stir until it starts to get caramelized, then mix in the butter.

On the caramel, stack sliced nectarines or apricots, and perhaps other fruit. Pour the rice and put it in to bake in a very hot oven, until the rice is slightly dry.

When ready, cool and turn into a tray. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and serve.
