Ingredients

  • cabbages - 1 small head
  • zucchini - 1 (small)
  • carrots - 3
  • cucumbers - 1 (small)
  • peppers - 1 red + 1 green
  • red onions - 1 big head
  • celery - several stalks
  • olives - 20, black
  • olive oil
  • apple cider vinegar
  • salt - to taste

How to cook

Clean the cabbage of the outer leaves and cut it into fine strips. Sprinkle a little salt and rub lightly with your hands, to soften them.

Peel the carrots and cucumber, cut them into strips. If the zucchini is young, don't peel it, chop it finely as well.

Clean the peppers of their seeds and cut into strips, along with the red onions.

Add the finely chopped celery, olives, apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Mix the veggies well.

Serve right away with a suitable drink, I'd recommend homemade grape brandy.
