How to make
Clean, wash and cut the apples into crescents. Tenderize each steak and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
Smear the tray in which you'll be baking with olive oil, put 1/2 the apples in it, arrange the steaks on top and place the remaining apples over them.
Distribute allspice between the meat, pour the honey over the apples in a thin trickle using a spoon, pour on the apple juice and wine.
Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 340°F (170 °C) oven for 1 hour 30 min.
Remove the foil and leave the meat to crisp another 15 min. The combo of meat, apples and honey may seem crazy but I assure you it's remarkably tasty.
I recommend using green sour apples to balance the honey and wine. Highly recommended!
