  • milk - 1/3 cup

  • cocoa - 2 tablespoons

  • butter - 1 pack of 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • powdered sugar - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1/3 cup
  • cottage cheese - 2 lb (1 kg)

  • flour - 2 tablespoons

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar for the layer, add the milk and oil, then the sifted flour, cocoa and baking powder.

Bake at 360°F (180 °C) with the fan on for about 25 min. in a rectangular tray measuring about 8 3/4″ (22 cm) x 11 3/4″ (30 cm) or similar. Once fully cooled, remove it from the tray and cut it into strips along the longer side.

For the cream, beat the egg whites with the sugar to snow. Beat the egg yolks with the butter and powdered sugar. To them add the flour, vanilla and cottage cheese. Next add the egg whites and stir both mixtures with a spatula.

Arrange 1/2 the layer strips along the bottom of the tray, fill the space between them with cream.

Arrange the remaining strips on top and fill the space between them with cream as well. Bake the cake again at 360°F (180 °C) for 40 min. with the fan on.

On top you can smear with chocolate spread to hide the square pattern or sprinkle powdered sugar.
