How to make
Mash the canned tomatoes and knead the mince with 2-3 tablespoons of them. Heat a little oil in a pan and saute the diced peppers and carrot.
Add the mince, season with the spices and remaining tomatoes. Saute until the tomato juice evaporates.
Meanwhile, boil the potatoes, then mash them into a paste with a little salt, butter and milk. Boil the eggs and cut them into slices.
In a buttered tray, make a bed of mashed potatoes, spread the mince on it, add the sliced pickles and eggs, then another layer of mashed potatoes.
Sprinkle with the cheese and bake the moussaka until golden brown.
