Clean and cut the apples into crescents.

Butter a 10 1/4″ (26 cm) diameter tray, place the apple pieces, pour on the lemon juice and sprinkle 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g) sugar.

Place in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 15-20 min. until the apples turn a golden color, then take them out and leave to cool.

Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla in a bowl, add the milk.

Arrange the yufka over the baked apples in the tray and pour on the egg-milk mixture.

Return to the oven at 360°F (180 °C) for 40-50 min. until thickened and golden.

Let it cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
