Choose ripe but firm and healthy fruits. Cut the peaches and plums into small pieces. Place them in a pot with a wide bottom and sprinkle them with sugar.
After a while, put the pot on the stove and add 1 cup of water. Stir the cinnamon in. Allow the jam to boil until it thickens, stirring regularly.
If there is foam, spoon it out. When the spoon starts leaving a trail at the bottom of the pot, add the citric acid and after 2-3 minutes, take off the fire.
Distribute the jam into warm and dry jars, close them and turn the jars with their cap downwards.
You can add 2/5 cup (100 g) of slightly toasted walnuts if desired.
