  • potatoes - 21 oz (600 g)
  • onions - 1 head, old
  • eggs - 1
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • flour - 1 - 2 tbsp
  • breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup

How to make

Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water. Drain them and mash them to puree with a fork.

Mix together the grated onion head, salt, black pepper and the egg. You need to get a medium soft mixture.

If needed, add 1-2 tbsp flour. Pour the potato mixture into a plastic bag. With scissors, cut off 1 corner and spray out long sticks in a tray. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until reddened.

I fried 1/2 the mixture in heated oil. Serve with fresh salad.
