How to make

Clean the leeks thoroughly. Remove the upper parts of the stalks. Cut them in 2 lengthwise, then into tiny semicircles. Salt and mash them with your hand.

Heat the oil. Add the leeks and fry 7-8 min. on high heat until they soften. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste and serve with a garnish of boiled rice, French fries or pickle.
