"We love oven-baked potatoes, especially when they`re seasoned with our favorite spice - sausages."

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • sausages - 2 - 3, boiled
  • eggs - 6 - 7
  • feta cheese - 9 oz (250 g)
  • oil - 1/5 cup (65 ml)
  • salt

How to make

Put the peeled and coarsely chopped potatoes in a tray, sprinkle with the salt and savory.

Add 1/2 cup cold water and the oil. Stir and put them to bake in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven for about 25-30 min. (they need to remain hard).

In the meantime, dice the boiled sausages and crumble the feta cheese. Add thus prepared products to the still hard but slightly baked potatoes and put the tray in the oven for 10-15 min.

Take the tray out and make nests between the potatoes in random spots, break the eggs into them.

Return to the oven and bake 10 min. until the eggs are ready. Optionally, sprinkle the eggs with mixed spices or samardala.

You can use raw sausages as well but in that case you need to bake them a bit longer.
