How to make
Clean and wash the pork trotters. Pour 8 1/3 cups (2 L) water over them and boil until the meat comes off the bone (about 90 min.; pour in more water if needed).
Take the trotters out to cool and strain the broth into another pot. Debone the trotters completely and return the meat to the strained broth. Season with salt to taste and black pepper.
Boil the milk and add it to the broth. Once boiling, remove from the heat. Braise the paprika in the oil and pour it into the soup.
Serve hot, sprinkled with cayenne pepper, ground garlic and vinegar to taste.
