  • pork - from a freshly slaughtered animal
  • salt

  • bay leaf - 1 - 2 pieces
  • ginger - 1 piece (mango ginger)

How to make

Cut the meat, which you will use, to pieces. Put it in a deep pot with water to cover it and let it boil. Occasionally, remove the foam. Add salt, pepper, chopped onion, bay leaf, a piece of ginger and cook for about 1-2 hours.

Once the pork is tender, remove it from the heat and strain the soup. Put the meat in an oblong or round dish, decorate with lemon slices, boiled carrots and beetroots.

Add the broth and leave in a cold area to solidify. You can top the Russian khash with pickles and decorations of your choice.
