"A classic from the Macedonian region - baked feta cheese pita in a tray. It`s a favorite breakfast and a very old recipe that`s been passed down for many generations!"

  • eggs - 1
  • flour - 1 cup
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • feta cheese - 3 oz (85 g)

How to make

Beat the egg with a little water, gradually add the sifted flour and salt and stir.

You need to get a dough that's a little thicker than pancake dough.

Transfer it to an oiled tray, place the crumbled feta cheese and butter on top.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until reddened.

Optionally, sprinkle with grated cheese.
