  • lamb - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg) meat
  • green onions - 3 bunches
  • spearmint - several bunches

  • rice - 1 1/2 cups
  • green onions - 2 - 3 bunches

How to make

Put the washed and portioned lamb meat in an oven dish. Salt, sprinkle with black pepper and paprika to taste. Add the finely chopped green onions and spearmint. Pour a little oil over the meat and add some butter. Pour in water. Cover with foil and bake until semi-cooked.

Wash the lamb offal well and pour hot water over them. Put it on the stove and as soon as the water comes to a boil, remove it. Take the lamb offal out of the water and chop it finely.

Braise the green onions in a pot with oil and a little butter, add the offal and spices. Pour in the rice to braise and add 1/2 cup water.

Take the oven dish with meat out of the oven, remove the foil and add in the offal mix to it, carefully arranging the rice mix in between the lamb meat. Pour in water and finish baking.
