How to make
Stir the yeast in warm water with the sugar and leave it to bubble. Pour in the flour, add the melted lard, salt, eggs and knead a soft dough.
Leave it to rise for 30 min. Then divide it into 15 balls. Flatten each one with your palms into a rectangle.
Mix together the feta cheese with beaten egg white and put some of this filling in the middle of each. Shape each one into a breadstick 6 1/2″ (16 cm) long.
Arrange them in an oven dish. After they've sat covered with a towel or foil for 20 min., smear them with beaten yolk. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) until ready.
