How to make
Wash the apricots, cut them in half, remove the pits and peel the skins. Break the pits open and put the kernels back in the apricots, close the 2 apricots halves together.
Mix the sugar with 1 cup water and heat it up on a medium stove. Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves. Once the syrup comes to a boil, pour it over the apricots.
Let them cool, return the syrup to the pot, bring to a boil once more and pour it over the apricots once again. Repeat this process 2 more times. Then distribute the hot jam into jars, wrapped in moist towels. Close them and cool.
