How to make
Clean the apricots and peaches and clean them from the pits, by cutting them in 2 or in quarters. Put a little water in a pot on the stove to prevent the fruits from sticking, add the cinnamon and cloves and boil the fruits.
Then remove the cinnamon stick and cloves and puree the fruits. Add the sugar and return to the heat. Boil the jam while stirring, adding the cinnamon and cloves again as desired. Stir until the jam begins to form a furrow when passing a spoon through it.
If desired, add citric acid at the end but this is not mandatory. Pour the ready jam into dry, warm jars and close them well. Turn them with the caps down and wait for them to cool completely.
Store the jam in a cool, dark place.
