How to make
The apricots are peeled with a potato peeler and pitted with a skewer to preserve their integrity.
They are soaked for 2 hours in lime milk, stirring every 10-15 minutes. During this time, the sugar syrup is prepared.
After the apricots have been in the lime milk for 2 hours, they are washed well under running water and placed in the sugar syrup for about 1 hour.
If desired, you can place peeled almonds in the apricots instead of the pit.
Then they are boiled over low heat until the desired thickness of the apricot jam is obtained.
Finally, 1/2 tsp. of citric acid and geranium is added to the whole apricot jam.
