When cooking chicken breasts on the grill, you have to first tenderize the steaks. Make a horizontal cut on the fillet with a sharp knife, in order to obtain 1 large steak or 2 smaller ones.
Sprinkle each fillet generously with lemon juice, sprinkle with soy sauce and olive oil, season with basil or other spice of your choice.
Leave the meat for at least 30 min. in the fridge, then smear it generously with olive oil and bake in a preheated grill for 4-6 min. per side. It's important to grill the steaks well before flipping them over.
Serve the aromatic chicken steaks with a garnish of fresh salad. You can cook chicken leg steaks on the grill the same way.
