How to make
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in half the milk. In a bowl with the prepared yeast, add the remaining milk, yoghurt, egg, salt and baking soda.
To this prepared mixture, add the sifted flour, stir everything until it begins to come off the walls of the container.
Transfer to a table or floured board and knead. Sometimes you need more than 2 lb (1 kg) of flour. Leave it for 1 hour to rise in a warm area.
This dough is suitable for making pizzas, mekitsi, loaves, pitas, scones. You can also smear it with oil, put it in a plastic bag and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
