How to make
It's a spicy dish that uses ingredients typical of Mexican cuisine. I called it assorted because you can use leftover ingredients from the fridge instead of throwing them out.
It'll save you money and allow you to be creative, plus feed 3-4 people while at it.
Braise the sausage in a deep pan, to it add the chopped into crescents onions, pepper and garlic and leave them to braise. Next, add the spices and tomato paste.
Leave them for 2 min. to saute, add the wine and canned beans. They need another 2 min. to cook. Pour in the leftover lentils from a previous meal.
Let everything simmer on low heat, covered with a lid, for 5 more min. Sprinkle with parsley and serve right away.
Enjoy!
