Ingredients

  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • eggs - 3
  • vanilla - 1
  • cocoa - 1/2 cup
  • flour - 1/2 cup
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 packet
  • for the glaze
  • dark chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g), minimum 65% cocoa
  • butter - 1/5 cup (60 g)

How to make

Melt the butter in the microwave and add the sugar to it, stir until it melts. Add the eggs and vanilla.

Sift the flour through a sieve. Then gradually add the cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder, while continuing to stir.

Pour the resulting mixture into a pre-buttered and floured oven dish. Bake at about 360°F (180 °C) for about 25-30 min.

Melt the dark chocolate and butter. Stir until homogeneous. Pour this glaze over the brownies. If desired, decorate with fondant figurines.
