How to make
In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, the cardamom and cloves (both ground in a mortal and pestle and sifted) and the sifted flour. Stir with a mixer until homogenized.
Toast the nuts in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 5-10 min. or use already roasted ones. Let them cool and put them in the mixture, along with the fruits.
Pour the dough into a terrine form that you've buttered and laid out with baking paper.
Bake for about 90 min. in a preheated 300°F (150 °C) oven with the fan on.
Then leave the cake to cool, take it out of the form and cut it into slices.
