Ingredients

  • dark chocolate - 7 oz (200 g), crumbled
  • butter - 1/3 cup (90 g)
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (110 g)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch
  • eggs - 3
  • vanilla - 1 tsp, essence
  • flour - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • cocoa - 1 2/3 tbsp (25 g), natural
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • powdered sugar - for rolling

How to make

Melt the butter and crumbled chocolate in a water bath. Once melted, remove from the stove and stir with the sugar until it melts too.

Next, add the eggs 1 by 1, while beating well with a mixer. Pour in the vanilla, cinnamon, a pinch of salt and gradually pour in the sifted flour and cocoa, along with the baking powder. Cover the container and leave it in the fridge for 1 hour.

Heat the oven to 320°F (160 °C), lay out an oven dish with baking paper and put the powdered sugar in a bowl. Form small balls from the mixture, then roll them thoroughly in the powdered sugar and arrange some distance apart from each other in the oven dish.

Put them in to bake for 10-15 min. Leave the baked chocolate biscuits for 2-3 min. in the oven dish before taking them out.
